Product Description

The Hola HLA-DR4 Lyo PCR Kit is a lyophilized real-time SSP-PCR assay for qualitative detection of human HLA-DR4 (DRB1*04) alleles from DNA extracted from peripheral blood specimens.

HLA-DR4, also referred to as HLA-DRB1*04, is a relevant marker in HLA typing, immunogenetics, and rheumatology. The assay detects the HLA-DR4 target in the FAM channel and includes an internal human RNase P control detected in the Cy5 channel to support sample and extraction validity.

The kit is designed to detect approximately 590 subtypes of the DRB1 gene, including DRB104:01, DRB104:02, DRB104:03, DRB104:04, DRB104:05, and DRB104:06.

The kit is available for selected open qPCR instruments and for the Hola MDX08 System, enabling laboratories to choose between a manual PCR workflow and an automated MDX08 workflow.
