Product Description

The Hola HLA-B27 Lyo PCR Kit is a lyophilized real-time SSP-PCR assay for qualitative detection of human HLA-B27 alleles from DNA extracted from peripheral blood specimens.

HLA-B27 is one of the best-known genetic markers associated with ankylosing spondylitis and is commonly used in HLA typing and rheumatology. The assay detects the HLA-B27 target in the FAM channel and includes an internal human RNase P control detected in the Cy5 channel to support sample and extraction validity.

The kit is designed to detect approximately 410 subtypes of the B27 gene, including the most frequent alleles B27:05, B27:04, B27:02, and B*27:07.

The kit is available for selected open qPCR instruments and for the Hola MDX08 System, enabling laboratories to choose between a manual PCR workflow and an automated MDX08 workflow.
