The Hola HLA-B51 Lyo PCR Kit is a lyophilized real-time SSP-PCR assay for qualitative detection of human HLA-B51 alleles from DNA extracted from peripheral blood specimens.
HLA-B51 is one of the best-known genetic markers associated with Behçet’s disease and is commonly used in HLA typing. The assay detects the HLA-B51 target in the FAM channel and includes an internal human RNase P control detected in the Cy5 channel to support sample and extraction validity.
The kit is available for selected open qPCR instruments and for the Hola MDX08 System, enabling laboratories to choose between a manual PCR workflow and a semi-automated extraction-to-PCR workflow.
