From April 1, 2022, we offer PCR testing for indicated patients in cooperation with the IFCOR laboratory. The test results will therefore come to you from their email address. In the case of self-payers, we continue to analyze samples in our laboratory. In this case, the sending of the results remains unchanged.

Yes, we are accepting Edenred Benefits and Benefit Plus benefit payment cards. You pay with them as conveniently as with a regular payment card.

If you come as a self-payer be prepared to show your ID card. If you come on the basis of an e-receipt, you show your ID card and an insurace card.

The result of the test is related to the time when the sample was taken. If you subsequently come into contact with a person who has a positive result, or if you develop clinical signs of a respiratory infection, contact your GP immediately by telephone, who will organise further healthcare provision in collaboration with the regional health station.

At the present, this is currently the most reliable method of screening for COVID-19.

The quality of the result is mainly influenced by the quality of the sampling. It is not recommended to use oral hygiene products (mouthwash, toothpaste, etc.) before the collection.

An antigen is a molecule, a kind of marker that our body sees as foreign and is therefore able to trigger an immune response. When our immune system is exposed to microscopic invaders, it begins to defend itself by forming antibodies that neutralize these microorganisms or mark them as unwanted. These markers then seek out other immune system cells to destroy them.

Antigen testing is a quick, effective and simple test to determine if you are in the acute phase of SARS-CoV-2 infection. Tests can detect the presence of the virus within a few days of infection, usually within a week of exposure. Antigen tests can quickly catch the most infected individuals in a population and can help to significantly reduce the viral load spreading through the population.

In contrast, antibody tests must wait 2-3 weeks after exposure before the body is able to make specific antibodies to SARS-CoV-2.

PCR tests have much higher accuracy than antigen tests, but require advanced laboratory equipment and can take tens of hours to evaluate the results. In addition, PCR tests are so sensitive that they can identify small amounts of virus in a test subject before the onset of symptoms or in a situation where the person has already had the disease and the amount of virus in their body is so low that they are unable to infect others.

Yes, we use NADAL antigen tests from the German company Nal von minden.

Antigen testing is the appropriate method for asymptomatic patients. Antigen testing can also be effectively used as a rapid screening test for COVID-19 due to its rapid turnaround and relative accuracy. This feature is used by manufacturing companies, sports clubs and other entities that need to quickly separate infectious colleagues from others.

Yes, experts recommend always confirming the accuracy of the antigen test result with a PCR test.

Yes, payment is possible online when booking the date and at the collection point by card or in cash.

Please make sure you have enabled the online card payment option and have a sufficient payment limit. Contact your bank for the reasons why the transaction was declined. If problems persist, we recommend using a relative's card.

You will receive the result by text message. The certificate will be sent by email. For capacity reasons, it is not possible to print the certificates.

We use an official certificate issued by the Ministry of Health, which does not contain a QR code. The certificate with the QR code can be downloaded from the ocko.uzis.cz portal.

You will most likely receive your results on the following dates:

• Standard PCR test within 24 hours
• Express PCR test on the day of collection
• Super Express PCR test within 2 hours
• Antigen test within 2 hours

Yes, as long as you have received an email to confirm your booking. We have multiple staff at the sampling point and therefore it is possible for multiple clients to book for the same time.

You can change or cancel your reservation up to 24 hours before the testing date. To cancel your reservation, click on the link at the bottom of the message that confirmed your reservation. To change your reservation, write an email to covid@hola-biolabs.com. Refunds can take up to 10 business days.
